Alfred Habaasa

  • Alfred Habaasa is a Certified Public Accountant, Lawyer and Tax expert.
  • He currently supervises teams in the Petroleum and Mining Division of the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) performing TP and International Tax reviews of taxpayers dealing in Natural Resources.
  • Previously he worked as a senior tax adviser with Ernst & Young Uganda office and served a wide range of clients in different sectors.
  • Alfred has been a member of the ACCA and Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) since 2016
  • He has also undertaken other studies in International Taxation (ADIT) with the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) and in Management with the Association of Business Executives (ABE-UK)
  • He has a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and has studied law from Makerere University Law School.
  • He holds a Masters in Law (LLM) in Energy Economics and Law from the University of Aberdeen.
