We are a formalized platform that facilitates interaction between tax practitioners (lawyers, accountants, economists etc.), academics in tax, and professional organizations in taxation. The Tax Association helps its members through this coordination, collaboration and platform attain the greatest expertise, proficiency, and competency in all areas of the tax profession for the good of the taxation practice in Uganda, East Africa and Africa as a whole. The TTA hopes to foster independent research in public tax policy and to help bring the practical and scholarly resources to bear on problems and issues that continue to face taxation in Africa.
